M-Series (M404) to replace a Boron

I have a Boron imbedded on an NCD relay shield. I would like to replace it with an M404 so that my application will still function if I lose Internet. Is there any kind of physical adapter that would allow me to make the swap? Also, it appears that the M404 will work wth Verizon (the only carrier available to me); is that correct and would that affect pricing in any way?

Which NCD relay board to do you have? There isn't an adapter for M.2 SoM to Boron, primarily because it's significantly larger once you add in the connectors, status LED, buttons, etc..

However most NCD relay boards are connected by I2C, so you could use Particle M.2 SoM breakout board or Mikroe SoM board, and connect the NCD board via I2C.

Verizon is only available to enterprise accounts but works for both Boron (BRN404 and BRN404X) and M-SoM (M404).

Yes, my NCD board has a I2C interface, so that's a great idea Rick. But the Enterprise account is a problem. I'll check out what that entails.

Hey, when you say "the only carrier available to me". Do you mean the only carrier available in the area you want to deploy a Muon? Thanks
