LTE to replace the electron for Europe use

Hi All,

I already use Particle electron here in Europe and considering the 3G , i heard about the LTE, so is the LTE ready to use here in Europe to replace the electron?

There will not be a LTE Cat 1 version of the Electron. Aside from the Electron being the older 2nd generation design, the LTE Cat 1 modem (Quectel EG91-E) is wider than the Electron, so it won’t fit in the same form-factor. It also would not fit in the Boron (Adafruit Feather) form-factor.

LTE Cat 1 will be available in the M.2 SoM (B Series SoM B523) and Tracker SoM (T523) form-factors.
