Lowlatencylogger with mpu6050

Hi I’m very new to Particle and am trying log data from my mpu6050 IMU using the LOWLATENCYLOGGER app in the sdfat library. I have the mpu6050 wired correctly and am able to print data onto the serial monitor, but cannot figure out how to modify the lowlatencylogger to print this data onto an sd card. I figured out how to do this using arduino, using the sketch below, but some of the syntax is not compatible with the Particle build. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

/**
 * This program logs data to a binary file. Functions are included
 * to convert the binary file to a csv text file.
 *
 * Samples are logged at regular intervals. The maximum logging rate
 * depends on the quality of your SD card and the time required to
 * read sensor data. This example has been tested at 500 Hz with
 * good SD card on an Uno. 4000 HZ is possible on a Due.
 *
 * If your SD card has a long write latency, it may be necessary to use
 * slower sample rates. Using a Mega Arduino helps overcome latency
 * problems since 13 512 byte buffers will be used.
 *
 * Data is written to the file using a SD multiple block write command.

Quoting the syntax error message you got might have helped to shed some light on the issue.

But since this LowLatencyLogger sample builds fine and does actually show how data is written to the SD I'm not sure what you are missing

      block_t* pBlock = fullQueue[fullTail];
      fullTail = queueNext(fullTail);
      // Write block to SD.
      uint32_t usec = micros();
      if (!sd.card()->writeData((uint8_t*)pBlock)) {
        error("write data failed");
      }

But granted, this sample isn't the simplest to start with, but there are other samples in the lib too

Here is an updated version of the code. I am able to compile and download it, and it opens a csv file correctly, but no data is being recorded. The spreadsheet just opens up blank. I’m thinking it may be a problem with the “AcquireData()” portion of the code?

I am suggesting to try “Long Path Tool” program.
