Continuing the discussion from Setup WiFi on Photon without using iOS Setup Library:

OK, thats great. But not a great user experience for customers! I would need to explain that the process will seem broke, but actually works. So what we really need is the solution where an claimed device can be (re) set with Wifi.

To set the device into listening mode - I presume you can set the RST low for 3 seconds?

Setup Mode - Use the 'Setup' button - this is available via a pad on the underside of the pcb.

Sorry for not reading through the whole other thread, but you can enter Listening mode via software too.

Yes, the solder pad underneath the SETUP button provides access to the respective µC pin.
