Is WM-N-BM-09 P0 obsolete?

Is the chip, WM-N-BM-09 P0 obsolete?

I was notified by our board manufacturing that it is obsolete and we should be using the P2 version. Can anyone point me in the correct direction to find the differences between WM-N-BM-09 P0 and the P2 version?

Looks like the P0 was made by particle and USI, now its just particle?

This datasheet is for the assembly and not the chip.

The P2 is form-factor compatible with the P1 (USI WM-N-BM-11). However it has a different MCU (Realtek RTL8721D instead of STM32F205) and a number of other changes, see the migration guide.

There is no form-factor compatible version of the P0. The Photon 2 has a full P1 module on it, not the smaller P0 module.

And yes, both the WM-N-BM-09 and WM-N-BM-11 are obsolete. USI is no longer producing them. Particle just resold the USI parts. We don’t have any P0 (WM-N-BM-09) left in stock.
