Inductor to be used in a boost converter (MCP16251). Multi-layer VS Wirewound

Trying to reach out to hardware experts out there if a “chip” wire-wound or multilayer inductor can be used instead of a typical wire-wound inductor in a boost converter circuitry. Boost converter can be a MCP16251.
I intent to use the following instead of a typical wirewound inductor:

Cheers.

Stick to one of the suggested inductors in the datasheet or an equivalent of them, "Ferrite beads" have their uses but quite apart from anything else, being that much smaller they can handle much less power, and they're unsheilded.
