How to update the Photon Firmware?

I’m trying to update via

particle flash --usb system-part1-0.4.7-photon.bin system-part2-0.4.7-photon.bin

It doesn’t seem to be working. It still save 0.4.5. Any ideas what might be going wrong?

I’m not sure about the validity of that command, but one thing you could try is doing them one by one. Alternatively, update your CLI using npm update -g particle-cli and then do particle update while in DFU mode.
