How can I store data on the Boron?

#1

I want to be able to store measurements on the particle for when my units don’t have cell service. Then I can dump the database into an event as needed. Can I do this?

Can I read the data back into the particle for future calculations?

Yes.

You could save the readings in the EEPROM on the Boron. https://docs.particle.io/reference/device-os/firmware/boron/#eeprom

You could retrieve the readings back from the EEPROM when necessary.

I’d suggest creating a data structure for your measurements to make it easier to store and retrieve them from the EEPROM using the put() and get() methods.

You could use the Adafruit datalogger feather (ADA2922) https://www.adafruit.com/product/2922 to log onto a micro SD card - if EEPROM is too limited in space for you. There is a good library - https://build.particle.io/libs/AdafruitDataLoggerRK/0.0.1 to use this.
