I am trying to build my own outdoor camera that once senses motion it takes a picture. I am not sure what device to use. Is there a device that has enough cellular to send each photo? If not and I have to save photos to an SD card is that possible? what device would be best if it will just be running a camera and sensor off a battery? Can a photon do this without being connected to WiFi? Thanks
The motion detection part needs to be done via a separate sensor since the devices have not enough processing power for image analysis, but to take a snapshot and upload that to the internet or store it locally you could look at this thread
