I'm trying to get my Raspberry Pi Display Touch 2 up and running. I got it connected, but a green and black bar show up. I know there have been issues and such and there's this post: Tachyon DSI Display issue
I just really want to be able to use this with a screen, preferably the screen I've already purchased. Any help would be appreciated.
I've updated to 24.04 and now it's just a black screen. At least with 20.04 I got a black and green bar across the screen.
Hi jamierytlewski. Have you tried the solutions in this post yet? Raspberry PI touch-display-2 issues - #3 by mattcarpenter82
Interesting. And that did seem to work. That never showed up in any of my searches though. Thanks. So a question I have though is every time we do an update are we going to have to do this again as it seems like when we reflash the device it loses things that aren’t on an SD card.
For the time being, yes, unless you customize the filesystem yourself with an overlay. This is not part of the official tooling yet.
