Dead Photon while prgramming and using I2C?

Hi All,

yes, I’ve searched the forum, but I didn’t find an answer to my problem. My Photon stopped working and only the blue buildin led is on, but not full, only a bit shining. When pressing reset, the green seems to turn on, but nearly not visible. And nothing happens :frowning:

Is it dead or is there a way to reset it?
How can such a status happen? was wired to I2C and power…
Is this common to Photons? because it’s the second which stopped working.

Which device are you connected to for I2c? Is it 3v3 or 5v?

was an LCD with dedicated 5V power (parallel to Photon)
Got it now to breath white …

Have you tried safe mode?

trying safe mode and device doctor but only result is breathing white and not reachable :(:neutral_face:

Got it back!!!

needed more then three times “device doctor” and then I got it back.
