I don’t plan to use my cores in extreme activities, but I was asking myself about its temperature limits.

STM32F103CB comes in two versions: -40 +85 C° and -40 +105 C° (but dunno which one you are using)
CC3000 operates in the -20 +70 C° range (not great, BTW)

Which is the lowest (safe) temperature that a core can tolerate by design ?

To my knowledge (other feel free to chime in) this hasn’t been officially tested. I think the lower limit (as limited by the components on the board) is the CC3000 limit of -20C
