I am trying to understand how Connection Manager will operate on the MSoM under the following conditions:
- WiFi credentials have been defined and Cellular is activated
- Network preference is set to WiFi
I noticed that under these conditions, Connection Manager always seems to connect to Cellular first and then switches over to WiFi for the “final” connection. Is this normal? If it is, how long will it try Cellular before finally switching to the preferred WiFi?
What happens when neither WiFi or Cellular is available? Will Connection Manager keep trying BOTH WiFi and Cellular forever or just one of them? If so, is the only way to “break” this cycle to turn off both WiFi and Cellular?
Is there a decision tree diagram showing how Connection Manager works?
