Boron with 400mAh Lithium Ion Polymer Battery

I have a boron with 2 sensors collecting data with no delay cycles and reporting it back to my grafana server… I’m using 400mAh Lithium Ion Polymer Battery

Charting the batterycharge() function shows that the battery is draining fast for 8 hours until it reaches about 10% then the drain slows significantly and last for another 8 hours…

I was wondering if the boron somehow reduces power at 10%,and saves power or is the batterycharge() function is just calculating wrong?

16 hours from the 400mAh is pretty good, if a 2000 mAh battery can get 80 hours, that will perfect my project.

This fits the discharge profile for most LiPo batteries. It’s possible that the MAX17043 fuel gauge is reading a bit incorrectly with your battery, but mostly that’s the expected behavior.
