Hi everyone
I’m trying to connect an opticon barcode reader
as described the sensor has a RS232 CMOS LEVEL interface
My question is: is it necessary to use a level converter even if the output is already 3.3 volts?
How can I interface it?

@axlerose, from the specs, the device is powered by 3.3v so that will work just fine without a level converter.
Can I Use the standard UART tx/rx that have a logic 1 VCC and logic 0 as 0V connected to an RS232 3,3v that i suppose have a logic 1 VCC but a logic 0 -VCC ???
can i read the data throw the uart and send it throw the usb serial interface?
