B524 dev board power consumption

I recently acquired the B SOM B524 and plugged it to your B SOM development kit. I did some power consumptions tests and noticed that the consumption is quite high: the full board (dev board + B524) consumes >90mA when in network wakeup mode, and when I measure the power consumption of the B524 alone in the same wakeup mode I measure ~20mA

Is there something I can do on the dev board to reduce the power consumption ? For example remove the wiznet controller that I do not need ?

The WizNet W5500 is most of the power consumption and can’t be disabled. If you want to use the M.2 eval board to measure current usage, you kind of have to remove the chip, unfortunately.
