I just getting started with an Argon and I’m not able to get a clean build. Firstly, I’m using Ubuntu. Currently trying to build in the terminal following the instructions here. I’d like to progress to Eclipse once I have this running smoothly and I’ve found a few guides to debugging and expanding to code analysis.
However, when I build in the terminal, following the instructions in the first link I get:
../../platform/MCU/nRF52840/inc/sdk_config.h:25:5: error: "MODULE_FUNCTION" is not defined [-Werror=undef] #if MODULE_FUNCTION == MOD_FUNC_BOOTLOADER ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’ve tried building in Eclipse but that gives me a couple of dozens of the following:
libstdc++_nano.a(new_handler.o) uses 2-byte wchar_t yet the output is to use 4-byte wchar_t; use of wchar_t values across objects may fail
I understand this is not the typically recommended way to start but I’d rather keep everything as local as possible i.e. not using the browser IDE. Also I’d rather use an IDE I’m familiar with instead of having to download another for a specific vendor.
Any ideas what my problem(s) might be?
