What is the lowest state of energy usage a spark core can be put into while still being be able to wake it up from and incoming network message?
e.g. does deep sleep maintain an active wifi connection?
Or is there some other way a spark core can put into a low very low state of battery usage and be awakened remotely?
“Remotely” being via the internet from any any location around the world.
@Gizmo, I don’t believe that the “wake from interrupt” capability in the sleep() function includes CC3000 interrupts. As such, the Core cannot be awakened from wireless communications events. 
And given the relatively large power draw of the CC3000 I’m not sure if you would end up saving that much energy by sleeping the micro while still having the wifi chip on. I realize you’d save some but I don’t think it’s particularly substantial.
