Using LCMI602 IIC VI with Photon

Hey guys, newbie here. Thought I’d get started using and LCD with some hackster projects. Followed along this https://www.hackster.io/ravee-tansangworn/sunfounder-iic-20x4-lcd-particle-photon-b1790c tutorial.

When I try to compile the program however, I’m faced with a whole bunch of errors that seem to be focused on components from the library.

I tried another project https://www.hackster.io/ingo-lohs/what-s-my-i2c-address-0a097e the clock code and I was faced with a ‘pins_arduino.h: No such file or directory’ error. What am I missing?
