I don’t know if the fridge magnet app has been discussed lately here but I am very willing to build one using Spark core+LCD 8X2 and a baby bat. I mean, something similar to the kickstarter promo app but in a small scale. Can anyone tell me if that can be feasible (library. example)? I know that Twitter now mandates secure (SSL) connections but I still eager to move on with this. regards!
Yes – this is very feasible. You just need an intermediate host to do the SSL connection for you. See this forum post by @mohit. Lots of folks have also built very cool twitter torches so don’t limit yourself to fridge magnets!
