@mdma any word on when Core update will be? You mentioned in a few weeks, but that was 8 weeks ago.

@CptanPanic, the big Core update which will implement the HAL is planned for early Sept. I believe, if not earlier. The focus right now is on the Photon and Electron as you can well imagine. If you compile locally, you can access the Core HAL code on feature/HAL branch or the develop branch which also has the cutting edge beta Photon firmware but also includes the Core firmware.
