SoftAP HTTP connection to phone vs computer or laptop

The demo app works great when I connect to my Photon via my cell phone via 192.168.0.1.
When I try with my laptop it does show its connected to the Photon, but the web page does come up @ 192.168.0.1.

I then typed ipconfig and it shows (see below). Are we only able to use our phones to do this ?

Do you mean "... doesn't ..."?

Your IP doesn't look good either. Have you set dynamic IP and DNS? Or is any of these settings static on your machine?

Opp’se Yes I did mean doesn’t, sorry.

Well, slap me on the back of the head and call me stupid. I just tried another Laptop and worked just fine.
I usually do my due diligence before posting, so now I feel like a fool. I’ll have to see if one of the kids jacked with the settings on the other laptop.

I’s It possible to delete a OP ? There is no need to confuse people with this post.

Things like this do happen, and leaving it for others might help them to find the solution for their own problem.
