After installing cli using windows CLI installer i am getting the following error
Error loading module ‘serialport’ : Could not locate the bindings file. Tried:
Could you try npm install -g serialport?
@andyg, do you have an older CLI installation that you installed with nodejs? You may want to uninstall and re-run the installer with “run as adminstrator”. Which version of windows?

I removed everything particle related and then reinstalled with the cli installer.
now up and running.
