The new Photon exposes a dedicated wakeup pin (WKP). It seems in the Spark.sleep() function that any pin can be specified as a wakeup pin so could someone please explain why there seems to be a dedicated one? Is there extra functionality here that I’m missing?
Since the Photon sports a BAT pin too and also a “new” sort of sleep mode, a special WKP pin needs to be used in connection with these.
But you could search the forum for WKP and might find some more details, since this question was raised before already.
The thread here has answered some of my questions, though I’m just after a bit of clarification on the details. Would be much better if I had my Photon in-hand to test it!
