Photon 2 wifi stability issues on 5.8.2

I also notice that my P2 on 6.2.0 will just disconnect altogether after a while, requiring a reset to get it back to a spotty connection. It was over the weekend so I wasn't collecting logs over USB. This is with a HW watchdog enabled.

@jettonj I'm returning to P2 firmware development having sorted the issues with the power supply to the P2 on a custom board and I am concerned that 6.2.0 is a regression from 5.9.0 - concerning that there has been no reply on this thread from Particle for 17 days. Could we have an update on progress to resolve please?

I have an open support ticket and Particle says they're aware of the issue and are working to resolve it, but that's all I've got.

Thank you for the update - good job the ship date on our new P2 product has been slipped - 6.2.0 appears to have a lot of improvements but unstable WiFi makes it unusable.

I have reported issues to Particle as well with P2 Wifi stability.
Even on 6.2.1 in a test app that does nothing but service the internal watchdog getting wifi drops and even watchdog events

Whoa there, Photon 2 - what’s going on, buddy? We’ve been longtime fans, rocking the original Photon with many successful deployments, but now, this? We're experiencing the same as the rest on this issue and it is not very Particle-like. With this issue, the Photon 2 is about as useful as a WiFi-enabled paperweight.

Can we please get an update from the Particle team on this?

Installed Device OS 6.3.0, and so far I have not experienced the lock-up or disconnects from previous versions after OS 5.6.0. The device has been on for ~24 hours now, where it previously locked up within one hour of boot up.

I haven't seen and drops on my devices running 6.3.0 either. For now I'm going to mark this as solved!
