I completely agree with the folks in the thread. I just moved from my original cores to my photons that were waiting patiently to be put into service. I couldn’t believe how fast the initial firmware upgrade was and then subsequent uploads taking only a second or two before rebooting. Great updates!
This is truly awesome, but now it’s almost too fast… Sometimes I successfully flash the firmware and I can’t tell that it completed because it happens so fast that my Photon is back up and running before I can get in a position to see the LED.
And that’s what we refer to as “first world problems”

For local cloud maniacs. However this is a rather dirty fix, works only with photons and requires some additions if anyone wants to use cores alongside their fastOTA photons on the local server.
