I'm not positive what you want to do, but here's a code example that uses a SoftAP HTTP page and uses Javascript to display the value of a potentiometer in sort of real time.

I had never tried this before, so I gave it a shot and it works. Quite well, actually, even with just the basic SoftAP support in 0.5.1! Here’s my test circuit, just a potentiometer connected to A0. I'm not sure how the multicast fits in, but you could certainly display a value received by multicast UDP instead of reading an analog pin.
