Monitor One - slow signal input speed

I am experimenting with a Monitor One Developer's Edition and can potentially use it with the I/O card. There is a slow signal input but I am unable to determine what slow means. I hope to use it to count pulse with a maximum frequency of 10Hz - is this possible with the standard board?

This is the circuit for the slow signal input:

The isolation component is actually a solid state relay, Toshiba TLP172A.

The limiting factor will be turn on and turn off time of the SSR.

If we round up to 3 milliseconds, that's 333 Hz, so your 10 Hz signal should be fine.
