Monitor One NFC1_PERIPH_INT

Trying to figure out if NFC1_PERIPH_INT pin on Monitor One can be used as an extra I/O pin.
Have searched everywhere for any info to no avail.
Any information on how to use it would be highly appreciated!

It's not recommended, but could be, with limitations.

It's connected to the ADP8866 user LED controller /INT output, which is open collector. However, the LED driver software does not enable the interrupt output on the chip.

So in order of preference:

  • Don't use it (safest)
  • Treat it as a shared interrupt input
  • Use it, but may break in a future version of Monitor Edge

Since it is not desperately needed and there are many levels of complexity to deal with on our side already, I will just forget that NFC1 ever existed.
