I actually tested the range, using Boron and Xenon. Xenon is attached with GPS and send location via Boron Gateway. I was able to reach 860m as mapped on Ubidots dashboard checked with google maps. I used normal wip antennas from Taoglas bought on Digikey on both Bluetooth ufl connecter on Xenon and Boron. Effective range was 680m.
