I have an Electron with Assettracker shield. I have programmed it to report temperature and acceleration from the LIS3DH. I am using a 10 Hz sampling rate and full scale sensitivity of 2 g. The data displayed seem to be very noisy. The AssetTracker is sitting quietly on my workbench, but its temperature jumps around within a 2 degree C range. The acceleration reported also varies +/- 1 m/s^2 (i.e. approx .1g). This seems very noisy to me. Almost useless. is this normal?
