Note, however, that you now need to go through the A2P 10DLC registration process to send a SMS message to a US phone number. This doesn't cost anything, but may take several weeks.
Is this something that is done from with the Twilio website? I had some twillio notifications that stopped working, but I have not done the troubleshooting to sort it out. I only went so far to see that i could send from the twill dashboard.
Yes, to send a SMS from Twilio to a US mobile phone now, you need to complete the A2P 10DLC registration on the Twilio web site. I believe it's free, but it may take a few weeks.
