Hi.
I’m using to photon to control one of our High Tunnels. We grow tomates and cucumbers for market there during the summer, starts seedlings in the spring and house a flock of chickens there during the winter month. The photon is controlling two rather large ventilation doors (2,5x,2,5m). A wiper motor is driving a home built winch which opens or closes the doors based on temperature. Eight car relays is forming a H-bridge and an old PSU is providing the power.
The photon is also sending temperature data to Ubidots from three one wire sensors. In the future I plan to log humidity and sunlight as well.
The photon has been really easy to work with and I’m actually quite proud of the system.
