I am curious if anybody has experience setting up an external fuel gauge for both 12VDC and 24VDC nominal voltages.
Here’s what I am after - you connect Particle one to battery system for both continual charging and monitoring.
Publish the system battery voltage with the location publishing. If the system reached a low battery state for any reason - the system would publish a warning to notify the user. I am adding this to a list of “Fault States to report” like ambient temperature.
These items are used by multiple people and left off chargers regularly - so I am trying to get around that.
