E402 with Lipo as just emergency power

Hi
I’m planning to power the electron E402 from 5vdc@ 2A PS.
I’d like to send some info during a power outage ( no 5vdc).
Which should be the considerations to use a LiPo battery if there is anyone?

Just connect the LiPo battery to the battery jack and the Electron will keep running off the battery power when the AC power is lost.

You should add the code that puts the Electron into sleep mode when the battery SOC hits 20% to prevent low voltage from damaging the Electron since it has caused issues in isolated cases in the past.
