I read the Electron has a 0 Ohm resistor on the back of the PCB that connects VBAT to +3.3 and that this needs to be removed to allow a battery to be used on VBAT to hold up the RAM and RTC (I do not want to keep the whole IC running on lithium because power can be off for a week or 2 at times.
Does the same apply to Photon, or is the VBAT on photon NOT connected to +3.3 and I can simply attach my backup battery to retail RTC and RAM?
