Can Argon Charge a Lithium Ion battery?

I see in the docs that one can attach a Li-ion battery to the Li+ pin which seems to be connected to the positive pin of the Li-poly connector.
Would the Argon (or Xenon for that matter) be able to charge a 3.7V Li-ion battery?
