I am currently a retained fire fighter. I gained a degree in computer science in 2003, after that I worked as a DBA for a few years, then as a coder for an accounting software firm coding c#. I didn't find I was doing so well coding and didn't much like being in an office all day so joined the fire service. Now I code for fun which suits me much better, I also enjoy tinkering with electronics and can sometimes spend days in front of my PC. I am a jack(ish) of most trades but alas master at none. I do have a hard time learning but my persistence is the stuff of legend
