Reliability of the new E series Industrial Electron

It’s been a while since I last posted, work and moving house getting in the way of tinkering but, I’m very pleased to see the development of the E Series.

I do have one niggle though, why isn’t there an onboard RTC, it’s meant to be for industrial applications after all?

@Alph, the STM32 has a built in RTC.

Thanks peekay123, I should prop read the data sheets before opening my mouth lol

Would be worth mentioning it on the product summary page though…

@Alph, the product sheet does mention the STM32F205 being used. If Particle was to mention all its features of the device, they would run out of room on the product page! Reading the data sheets is always a good start

Another question for you folks:

Does this mean the E401 model would connect with Verizon carrier? Would be great since their rural coverage is far superior on Verizon than ATT and T-Mobile.

Hi All,

Would you happen to know the shipping date of the E-Series evaluation kit? Also when would the schematic for the evaluation kit be available online?

Thank you,
