Particle with only LoRa Networking

@RWB

Really, Really, Really Good News. Appreciate your hard work and sharing with us. I will try it tomorrow and update if there is any difficulties. Thanks a lot!

@kazi93 Yes good stuff.

I have not been able to test with an RF95 breakout yet but don’t expect any issues considering the library compiles just fine now.

Let us know how it works for you good or bad.

@RWB Will update here as soon as I receive the modules. Ordered from seedstudio but they are delivering from HongKong :frowning:

@kazi93 What modules did you order? RF95 modules?

Also here is an interesting library for the Lora Modules put together by some HAM guys. It’s should be easy to use this code on the Photon or Electron to extend the functionality of the RF95 modules.

@RWB

Many thanks for the above link. I will take a look. My objective is to build a LoRaWAN test environment. :slight_smile:

I have ordered “RFM95 Ultra-long Range Transceiver Module/LoRa Module/support 868M frequency”.

Sounds cool.

So you’re going to try to create a LoraWAN network that provides an internet connection that will be supplied by a Photon or Electron?

Good luck, I believe the RF95 modules are the cheapest and highest quality long range radios out there right now.

How did you go?
