Locked up Boron, ignores ~EN pin: how can this happen?

1. I am using B523 also called B5 SOM, a Cat 1 module in the Boron / B series
2. I need it for a Lightweight wireless device log as it has been too useful to let go of
3. With all these optimization schemes, I would really like to know a way to pull the reset line to the modem directly, so I know for a fact it has been done, as in the past that has always worked with other modems as a last resort.
