@mm6, welcome to the Particle community! Brandon is no longer with Particle. The issue you are seeing is a well-known Web IDE problem with libraries that have a large number of files in them. It is unlikely that Particle will fix this problem as they have a lot more important fish to fry.
This problem will not occur if you use the Particle CLI or the Particle Workbench and download the library to your computer and compile it from there. I highly recommend Workbench as it uses VS Code, a very capable code development platform.
