The files here were the ones giving me the issue, i saved them at the time, in hindsight i should have saved a bin file!

it wouldn't flash no matter how many times i tried, but commenting out a line made it flash without issue.
it was a while ago now and i guess if the rest of the core files have changed it may not cause the same bug now. Ill try it again tonight if i can find a minute while packing.
I dint save any others as i was never sure if it was my programming.. i was always like whats going on that should have worked.. then i would add some debugging lines and it worked and then i moved on and the code grew and grew
Im sure you have read through these posts, there is a bit of info in there.. but we didnt really get to the bottom of what it was, i hijacked the tread about post 61
