Using NRF52840 for Zigbee

Is it possible to disable the Thread implementation and use the 52840 to communicate via Zigbee? I have a bunch of Zigbee nodes to connect to, and I’d rather use a Particle device than go find some alternate gateway that does 802.15.4 and LTE/Wifi.
