# Tracker incoming commands on USB

When enabled, the Tracker will respond to custom USB control requests (code 10). The requests are the same format as the “cmd” function and allows things like resetting the configuration and going into shipping mode.

Unfortunately the Particle CLI isn’t able to generate these requests over USB, but some of the tools in the docs are able to use it to put the Tracker in shipping mode after flashing.
