ZDNet: WiFi firmware bug affects laptops, smartphones, routers, gaming devices.
The 2nd (Photon, P1, Electron, E Series) and 3rd-generation (Argon, Boron, and Xenon) Particle devices are based on FreeRTOS, not ThreadX, and are not affected.
The 1st generation Core uses no RTOS or can optionally use FreeRTOS as a library, and is not affected either.
