This is a must for the Spark. Being able to push data. With Spark.variable, a Get request need to be initiated from the server. Thank you for this future implementation. Spark.event()!!

We totally agree, this is on our list of features to implement. I believe you’ll be able to register postbacks through the API, so you don’t need to poll.

First off, thanks for the Spark Core, absolutely loved playing around and seeing what it’s capable of over the last few weeks. I just wondered if there is a roadmap for these additions or a rough time-scale. I’m currently working on a project as part of my university course and having an event-triggered push notification is crucial to the project, and an Android app template would be really handy as well. I wondered if both or either would be available before the end of Jan/ beginning of Feb? Thanks, Pete
