# Product firmware upload failing - Product ID issue

I’m trying to upload a second version of my firmware for a product using the Firmware Upload screen.  
My Product ID and Product Version match what is reflected in my Firmware, but it fails on submit:

My other v.1 firmware uploaded and flashes fine…

I fixed my own problem.  
I didn’t have any Photon devices left in my [build.particle.com](http://build.particle.com), all Photons had been moved over to my product area.  
In order to write Photon firmware you need to ⭐ a Photon device before Compiling and Downloading Firmware. That solved it!  
Thanks @kennethlimcp he’s the one that really solved it!
