I have two photons that are unpowered, in its boxes and particle build show them as they were online.
I mean the small cyan circle at the bottom right is breathing Cyan.

When you abruptly de-power a Photon or P1, the online/offline state may remain online for some period of time. It’s not intended to be an accurate representation of the actual offline state. It should never list offline when it’s online, however.
For the Electron, it’s always online after the first connection.

Let me highlight that one of my Photons got burned because of an accidental short circuit and this happened one year ago. That Photon is yet showed as online.
