**11/25/16** - _Firmware v0.6.0_

Firmware v060 has been released for all Particle devices. This is a _huge_ update to our system firmware that comes with a ton of new features and bug fixes.

The biggest feature is a brand new [logging](https://docs.particle.io/reference/firmware/photon/#logging) library for flexible system and application logging. Docs for the improved logging system can be found [here](https://docs.particle.io/reference/firmware/photon/#logging). For a full list of improvements, please check out our [Particle Firmware Updates Thread](https://community.particle.io/t/particle-firmware-updates-thread/14378/36) or [GitHub page](https://github.com/spark/firmware/releases/tag/v0.6.0) for v060.

Photon devices will be automatically updated when new firmware is flashed to the device, and Electrons can be manually updated by downloading and running the system updater feature in our [Firmware Manager](https://docs.particle.io/guide/tools-and-features/firmware-manager/electron) tool.
